It all started when…

we made a concerted effort to be a zero waste studio. The link takes you to Birds in the Hand Jewelry, the collaborative company we set up to repurpose my husband, Marc Petrovic’s, murinis into our unique jewelry line. We challenge ourselves to limit our environmental foot print by repurposing our discards and using them as a material in their own right. Then it was my turn, and I plumbed my reserves of leftover parts and repurposed them into these botanical sugar cookie ornaments- suitable for the holidays and beyond.
